Wat Blink is

Blink is een camera-app. Elke tik neemt precies één seconde op, en de app plakt die seconden achter elkaar tot één film. Je gebruikt Blink voor je eigen opnames. Er is geen tijdlijn van anderen, je seconden worden nooit met andere gebruikers gedeeld en er is niets openbaar.

Je hebt geen account nodig

Opnemen, films maken, importeren, stempels, video maken en delen werken zonder in te loggen. Log je in, dan bewaart Blink een kopie van je seconden op de server, zodat je ze terugkrijgt op een nieuwe telefoon. Je mag je account op elk moment weghalen; hoe dat gaat staat op de verwijderpagina.

Jouw opnames blijven van jou

Alles wat je opneemt of importeert blijft jouw eigendom. Wij gebruiken je seconden niet, kijken er niet in, verkopen ze niet en trainen er geen modellen op. Wij bewaren ze alleen om ze aan jou terug te kunnen geven. Wat wij wel vastleggen staat in het privacybeleid.

Wat je niet mag

Opnames maken of bewaren die tegen de wet zijn, of opnames van mensen die dat niet willen op plekken waar dat niet mag.
De app of de server aanvallen, overbelasten of proberen af te luisteren.
De app namaken of doorverkopen.

Doe je dat toch, dan kunnen wij je account sluiten. Dat is geen sanctie die wij lichtvaardig nemen, en je hoort van ons waarom.

Blink Premium

Blink is gratis. Premium is optioneel en geeft langere seconden door de opnameknop vast te houden, video in 4K en geen watermerk op de video die je maakt. Premium kost 9,95 euro per jaar of 39,99 euro eenmalig voor altijd. Prijzen kunnen per land verschillen; wat je betaalt staat altijd in de app voordat je koopt.

De aankoop loopt via Google Play of via de App Store van Apple. Zij innen het geld, niet wij.
Het jaarabonnement verlengt automatisch tot je opzegt. Opzeggen doe je in je Google Play-account of je Apple-account, niet bij ons. Zeg je op, dan houd je Premium tot het einde van de betaalde periode.
Geld terug vragen gaat via de winkel waar je kocht. Vind je dat het onterecht was, mail ons dan; wij helpen graag mee, maar de winkel beslist.
Eenmalig voor altijd betekent: zolang Blink bestaat en op jouw account. Er komt geen tweede rekening.

Bewaren doen we goed, maar niet met een garantie

Wij doen ons best om je seconden veilig te bewaren, en de app bewaart ze bovendien op je eigen telefoon en in je galerij of Foto's. Toch kan geen enkele dienst honderd procent beloven. Blink is dus geen vervanging voor je eigen back-up, en wij zijn niet aansprakelijk voor verloren opnames, behalve waar de wet ons wel aansprakelijk houdt (bij opzet of grove nalatigheid).

Wijzigingen

Verandert er iets belangrijks in deze voorwaarden, dan zie je dat in de app voordat het ingaat. Kleine tekstverbeteringen zetten we hier zonder aankondiging, met een nieuwe datum bovenaan.

Recht en rechter

Op deze voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Komen we er samen niet uit, dan gaat het geschil naar de bevoegde rechter in Nederland. Woon je in de EU als consument, dan houd je de bescherming van het recht van je eigen land.

What Blink is

Blink is a camera app. Every tap records exactly one second, and the app stitches those seconds into one film. You use Blink for your own recordings. There is no feed of other people, your seconds are never shared with other users, and nothing is public.

You do not need an account

Recording, films, import, stamps, Make video and sharing all work without signing in. Sign in and Blink keeps a copy of your seconds on the server, so you get them back on a new phone. You may delete your account at any time; how to do that is on the deletion page.

Your recordings stay yours

Everything you record or import remains your property. We do not use your seconds, do not look at them, do not sell them and do not train models on them. We keep them only so we can give them back to you. What we do record is in the privacy policy.

What you may not do

Make or keep recordings that break the law, or record people who do not want it in places where that is not allowed.
Attack, overload or try to eavesdrop on the app or the server.
Copy or resell the app.

If you do, we can close your account. That is not a step we take lightly, and you will hear from us why.

Blink Premium

Blink is free. Premium is optional and gives longer seconds by holding the record button, 4K video and no watermark on the video you make. Premium costs 9.95 euro per year or 39.99 euro once, forever. Prices can differ per country; what you pay is always shown in the app before you buy.

The purchase runs through Google Play or Apple's App Store. They collect the money, not us.
The yearly subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You cancel in your Google Play account or your Apple account, not with us. If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
Refunds go through the store you bought from. If you feel that was wrong, email us; we are happy to help, but the store decides.
Once, forever means: as long as Blink exists, and on your account. There is no second bill.

We keep things safe, but without a guarantee

We do our best to keep your seconds safe, and the app also keeps them on your own phone and in your gallery or Photos. Still, no service can promise a hundred percent. Blink is therefore not a replacement for your own backup, and we are not liable for lost recordings, except where the law does hold us liable (in case of intent or gross negligence).

Changes

If something important in these terms changes, you will see it in the app before it takes effect. Small wording improvements go up here without notice, with a new date at the top.

Law and court

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot work it out together, the dispute goes to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the law of your own country.
